About
Travel has always been more than movement, it’s how we connect, mark moments, and experience life more fully.
It’s about how a journey feels, before you leave, while you’re there, and long after you return.
I find calm in preparation. Not rigid schedules or overfiled itineraries, but thoughtful structure, the kind that makes space for presence, flexibility, and meaning.
Intentional Journeys by Tashaka was created as a home for that approach.
Why I Plan the Way I Do
I travel with my husband and our toddler, and I plan journeys that bring people together, milestone celebrations, shared experiences, and international trips that require thoughtful coordination.
Traveling with a child reshaped how I think about pace and priorities. Planning group and milestone travel reinforced the importance of clarity and shared expectations.
International travel deepened my understanding of flow, how days unfold, how places connect, and how preparation can make unfamiliar places feel accessible rather than overwhelming.
These experiences shaped the philosophy behind this space: intentional travel, thoughtfully planned.
What Intentional Travel Means to Me
Intentional travel isn’t about doing less, it’s about choosing with purpose.
● Choosing experiences aligned with the reason for the journey
● Creating structure that allows for flexibility
● Planning with real people, real energy, and real-life logistics in mind
● Allowing meaningful moments to unfold naturally
An intentionally planned trip doesn’t limit travel, it supports it. Families move with less stress, groups connect more easily, and international journeys feel expansive rather than overwhelming.

About This Space
Intentional Journeys began as a creative outlet— a place to document a planning approach I genuinely value.
Over time, it has grown into a resource for travelers who want their journeys to feel intentional, grounded, and aligned with real life.
This is not a space for pressure or perfection.
It’s a space for travelers who value clarity over chaos, and meaning over momentum.
